Boarding Homes Ministry

Members of Beaches Presbyterian have been a part of Boarding Homes Ministry (BHM) for over five years. A more detailed description of the ministry can be found on this website. Boarding Homes Ministry is a justice ministry supported by the Presbytery of East Toronto and The Presbyterian Church in Canada.

Refugee Working Group

The Refugee Working Group has commited itself to learning about how the church can support the needs of a few of the world's growing number of refugees. Over the past five years, the group has been supporting three different refugee households in three different countries. Our work towards sponsorship led to the arrival in Canada of a refugee in February, 2006. For information on BPC's Refugee Working Group, contact the group at this address.

Fairly Traded Goods

Most Sundays following worship, fairly traded goods, including coffee, tea, and chocolate, can be purchased. This justice ministry supports socially, environmentally and economically responsible business initiatives, such as Just Us Coffee Roasters and Level Ground.

Beaches Interfaith Outreach

Beaches Presbyterian is one of the Beach congregations supporting a daily lunch program for people who are homeless or who just need a hot meal.
