MISSION CAPSULES: Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing ... support Louise Gamble as she teaches at Tam Kang High School in Taipei, Taiwan. In addition to teaching English and Biblical classes, Louise is working to transcribe the official documents of George Leslie MacKay, the first missionary to Taiwan. She writes, "The MacKay missionary story is an intriguing one. In some ways he was a man of his own times, but in other ways he was truly exceptional." Let us pray for Louise as she faithfully serves our partner church, the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: Construction of "The Ramp" is due to begin this coming week. Please do NOT confuse the issue of the ramp and the deficit. They are two separate things. The City of Toronto have demanded that we have a ramp as we are a public building and our deadline is early 2012. Money for the ramp was specifically donated and designated for the ramp. However, the $9,000.00 deficit is still our responsibility, and so far we have raised $1650.00. Please give this your prayerful consideration.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18th, 2011 - A Christmas Carol reading at 3:30 pm. This year we have CBC's Tom Allen and Laurie Brown. Actors Sheila McCarthy and Sean Cullen. Also featuring Buck 65 performing a new song. Tickets $20.00 Proceeds to the Refugee Fund.

There will be food and we need some volunteers to provide it. Debbie Murray is co-ordinating the food again this year and she is looking for Christmas cookies, shortbread cookies, squares, mini scones, chocolates, apple cider and/or cash.
