MISSION CAPSULES: Our gifts to Presbyterians sharing ... support Dr. David Pandy-Szekeres as he serves with the Reformed Church of Sub-Carpathian Ukraine (RCCU). David coordinates four Christian secondary schools and helps to post and supervise RCCU missionaries serving communities in Ukraine. A special class run by RCCU missionaries for Toma children in the village of Nagyvereg has been a great success. Nine students who went through the first session passed their final exams and were enrolled in regular classes. A multifunctional building which will serve as a prayer hall and kindergarten is being constructed to serve this Roma community. Let us pray for David and the important work that the RCCU is doing with Hungarians in Ukraine.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd, 2011 - WOMEN'S RETREAT - Due to busy schedules all around the proposed Women's Day Away originally planned for November 18-19th has been postponed to February 2012. However, in the meantime, we are continuing with our monthly dinners. The next Women's Pot Luck is Tuesday, November 22nd, at the home of Mary Rae Shantz, 230 Wineva Avenue. Please join us for some good food, laughter, faithsharing and more laughter.

NOTE: Beaches needs a Nursery Coordinator - if you are moved by even the teeniest amount of interest - please speak to Mary Rae Shantz, Erin Sclisizzi or Debbie Murray.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: Do you enjoy coffee/tea/conversation after worship. Yes! Well, we need a little more help. We have four teams in place and each team looks after the coffee hour for a month at a time. Since this system was put into place, people have left us, people have moved away, and we have now have a serious shortage of people - most of them women - who look after this very important ministry. SO, if you would like to participate please speak to Elisabeth Grant. You could bring goodies, you could bring something for the children, you could help set up and clean up, you could make the coffee and we have had a new coffee maker donated (easier to use) or you could give money for someone else to do this. Please give this some prayerful thought.

QUESTIONS FOR WHICH PEOPLE HAVE NO "GOOD" ANSWERS:

- Why does round pizza come in a square box?

- What disease did 'cured' ham actually have?

- If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

- Why are you IN a move but you're ON TV?

- Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

- If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a stupid song about him?

Have a good week - MB
