They will enjoy unique expressions of faith in both large and small groups, inspiring keynotes and workshops, dynamic faith exploration and joyful celebration. For 20 years, CY has been a gathering place for all kinds of enthusiastic Presbyterians to worship, play, create, learn, dance, sing, act, make new friends, study scripture, share joy, reflect, pray and share. More than 4000 people have attended the event since it began and the impact has been felt across our church. Presbyterians Sharing … provides support for this unique event which comes around once every two years. Let’s celebrate the vibrant ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL…..

Most of you already know that our Refugee family – Hassan, his wife and child – have finally been cleared to travel. We know they will be arriving but we don’t know when. Since we originally gathered things, some have been donated to the Simcoe Group’s family. An inventory of what we have was completed this week and this is what we will need for them: a dining room table; a kettle, some cooking utensils; cutlery; dishes; pillow cases; double bed sheets; a futon mattress; beds. There are no tea towels, dish cloths or pots.

In the way of furniture we have two dressers; a rocking chair; a love seat; eight oak dining room chairs.

If anyone is willing to contribute could you please let Peter McKinnon or me know. AND keep in mind we don’t have any available space to store things.

More later …..

Have a good week MB
