MISSION CAPSULES: Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing ... support Brian Johnston, an English and music teacher working at the Theological Seminary of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Romania. In addition to teaching English to first and second year Lutheran and Reformed students, Brian directs a choir of seminary students which ministers to communities through music. During his time in Romania Brian has also become an active photographer, holding successful exhibitions in Hungary and Romania. He encourages students to enhance their various mission projects through photography whenever possible, and recently shared an exhibit with four former students. Let us pray for Brian and the seminary students as they work together to share the good news of Christ.

NOTE: Our prayer shawl ministry quietly carries on. So far, with few knitters, we have been able to deliver and share 13 shawls so far. They have all been received very, very well. It is a ministry that has touched many people - both the recipients and the people around them. Thank you all for your support.
We could use more wool. If you have some hiding in a closet we would be most grateful.

Kids were asked questions about the old and new testaments. The following statements about the Bible were writen by children. They have not been retouched or corrected.

In the first book of the Bible, Guinessis, God got tired of creating the world so he took the Sabbath off.

Adam and Eve were created from an apple tree. Noah's wife was Joan of Ark. Noah built an ark and the animals came on in pears.

Samson slayed the Philistines with the Axe of the Apostles.

Moses led the Jews to the Red Sea where they made unleavened bread, which is bread without any ingredients.

Moses died before he ever reached Canada. Then Joshua led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol.

Have a good week - MB
