MISSION CAPSULE:

Malaria is one of Africa’s most severe health challenges and one of it’s most prevalent childhood diseases. PWS&D is working to reduce the incidence of malaria by teaching communities how to prevent the spread. Community leaders and volunteers run prevention campaigns and teach people how to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds and properly use and care for bed nets that provide protection while sleeping. When someone does contract malaria, volunteers now know how to respond quickly with medical care to ensure fewer people die as a result of the disease. With awareness, tools and training, communities are seeing fewer cases of the disease and embracing their futures with optimism and strong, healthy bodies.

SATURDAY, APRIL 29th, 2017 - SPRING THAW CONCERT featuring Julian and the band. Proceeds to Truth and Reconciliation Ministries. Come along and enjoy the music performed by this group. Bring your friends, bring your children bring anybody!

MISTAKES

If a barber makes a mistake, it’s a new style ….

If a driver makes a mistake, it’s an accident …

If a doctor makes a mistake, it’s an operation …

If an engineer makes a mistake, it’s a new venture…

If parents make a mistake, it’s a new generation …

If a politician makes a mistake, it’s a new law …

Have a good week - MB
