An unprecendented number of people around the world are suffering as a result of violent conflict. While war has always been a part of human history, the nature of armed conflict has changed. More than ever, victims of violence are non-combatants. Women, men and children endure displacement, hunger and unthinkable trauma. When war strikes, as Christians, we are called to be peacemakers. PWS&D's Be a Peacemaker campaign provides relief and support to families suffering the devastating effects of war. PWS&D's response has provided food aid and essential non-food items to thousands of vulnerable families - restoring their strength and hope as they face each uncertain day.
