BOARDING HOMES: As you know, our Boarding Homes Ministry is one of our most successfull. Our team visits every Monday. This month the team would like to provide an Easter dinner for the men. Last week I suggested salads etc - however, it would be better if you want to support this dinner, to give some money to one of the team members before Sunday. That would allow them to shop. Talk to Erin, Tim, Jay, or Mary.

MISSION CAPSULES: In Canada, the news of pregnancy often brings joy and hope to expectant mothers. But in Malawi and Afghanistan - where maternal and child mortality rates are among the highest in the world - it is difficult for many women to get the support they need for a healthy pregnancy. PWS&D is working to improve health services and overcome cultural barriers that prevent women from receiving necessary pre and postnatal care. Health facilities are being established and upgraded and more birth attendants are being trained. Communities are being taught about the importance of healthy, family relationships and the needs of mothers, newborns and children. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of women and children and empower communities to grow healthier.

WATCH FOR: Young Children in Worship Training at Guildwood Presbyterian Church. 9:00 to 4:30. May 7th Part 1 - June 11th, Part 2 - Trainer - Dr. Laura Alary. Cost $135:00 per person - Beaches can fund two to attend.
