SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 19th, 2011 - Beaches Annual Kids Program open house - 10:00 am - 2:00 at the Beaches Recreation Centre. A showcase of kids programs ages 0 - 16 that are available in the Beach. This is a great opportunity to meet with program organizers, teachers and coaches.

MISSION CAPSULES: Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing ... support Rev. David Pandy-Szekeres as he serves with the Reformed Church of the Sub-Carpathian Ukraine, a church of ethnic Hungarians in Ukraine. David supervises the work of RCCU missionaries and coordinates four Christian secondary schools. Ferenc Homoki, one of the missionaries that David supervises, is working with the Roma Community in Nagybereg. Ferenc has established regular worship services and Bible studies, and has built a good relationship with the people. He and his wife Dianna have started an informal school for children who have not attended school before. Plans are underway to construct a multi-purpose building to serve as a place of worship and as a kindergarten. Let us pray for David, Ferenc and the missionaries of the RCCU and our partner church in Ukraine.

CONGRATULATIONS - to Joseph and Sharon in Korea who are being married on March 12th, 2011 and will be leaving Korea to return to Toronto on March 20th, 2011. According to Joseph's work permit he must be working in a full time position. He is actively networking to bring this about. If you can help please do.

NOTE: Liz and Bill vanZanden are looking for donations of used panty-hose. They can be any colour, any shape, holes and runs do not matter. They are going to be used to tie blankets on baby elephants at the Sheldrick's elephant orphanage in Africa. http://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/

KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH on Spadina is looking for a part-time custodian. The job is approximately 13 hours per week. Sundays from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and Mondays from 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The job consists of greeting and welcoming people and some light custodial work. resume's to Scott Broadhead at Knox.

History - In wartime children who lived in big cities had to be evaporated because it was safer in the country.

Math - The total is when you add up all the numbers, and the remainder is an animal that pulls santa in his sley.

History - Sometimes in the war they take prisners and keep them as ostriges until the war is over. Some prisners end up in consterpation camps.

Religious studies - A mosque is a sort of church. The main difference is that its roof is doomed.

Religious studies - I asked my mum why we said old men at the end of prayers. I don't know any old men except from grandpa.
