FRIDAY, JUNE 27th, 2014 - "Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have film" Steven Wright

SUNDAY, JUNE 29th, 2014 - Join us for morning worship at 10:30. AND next Sunday, July 6th, we begin our service at 10:00 am until September.

Also, Fallingbrook Presbyterian Church will be holding their weekly services on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 until September 7th.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: If you missed the Congregational Meeting on June 15th here is some information that was shared during the meeting. We must continue to pay Matt's severance allowance which includes his salary, housing allowance, utilities and benefits until the end of September. We continue to pay our portion of the pension for four years or until we have a new minister. We now pay the Interim Moderators fees and our Sunday speakers as well. Most of our tenants do not use the space during the summer and therefore don't pay rent. So our expenses continue, but our offerings always decrease in the summer months when so many people go on vacation. If you would like to help the church with our expenses, please consider going on the PAR program. Your monthly deduction (whatever you choose to give) is deducted around the 20th of the month and the funds immediately go into the church bank account. For more information speak to Sheila MacDonald, Elisabeth Grant or email the church office. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Thanks.

MISSION CAPSULES: We text but don't talk, we Skype but don't communicate well, we measure friendship not by depth but by numbers on Facebook. With support from Presbyterians Sharing ... The Presbyterian Church in Canada is excited to host Canada Youth. Participants from across Canada and around the world will explore how to build the faithful relationships God intends us to have, face to face. Young people have been invited from PCC partners in eight counries; Malawi, Ghana, India, Ukraine, Syria, Taiwan, Nicaragua and Guatemala. The international participants will visit local churches, camps and communities throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island before joining hundreds of Presbyterians at Canada Youth from July 7-12th.
