MISSION CAPSULES: Gifts to Presbyterians Sharing ... support Anamiewigummig (Kenora Fellowship Centre) which has opened its doors every night for the past three years. Low income housing is hard to find in this area, and many who need emergency shelter come to the centre. No one is judged, and everyone receives care. The centre helps people like Debra, who once lived a hard life compounded by alcohol addiction, family violence and family breakdown. She stayed at the emergency shelter for over a year until she was able to secure a home. With the center's help and her own faith, she was able to rise above her hardships and serves in the very same place where she got the help she needed. Debra is an active, on-call shelter worker and is an inspiration to others in and around the centre.

STUFF: (I have included these before, but I really like them)

Paraprosdokians - A figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected; frequently used in a humorous situation.

Where there's a will, I want to be in it!

The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on my list!

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong!

We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public!

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad!

Have a good week. MB\
