SUNDAY, JUNE 9th, 2013 - Toronto Beaches Children's Chorus presents "Sing into Summer" - Kingston Road United Church 1:00 - 4:00. This is a fundraiser and features a bake sale, silent auction and raffle.

THURSDAY, JUNE 13th, 2013 - East Lynn Market - Opening for the season at East Lynn Park Danforth Avenue west of Woodbine 3:00 - 7:00 Master Gardeners, performance by Pegasus Dance, face painting and more.

MISSION CAPSULES: This year Canadian Foodgrains Bank is celebrating it's 30th anniversary. Presbyterian World Service & Development is a member and together we respond to immediate and long-term food needs of people in developing countries. Today CFGB is one of Canada's leading food assistance organizations and predominant Christian responses to hunger. Presbyterians in Canada are dynamic partners in this effort to help those who do not have enough to eat - last year PWS&D worked with CFGB on food aid and food security projects in 16 countries, worth nearly $2 million.

NOTE: This summer Beaches will continue to worship Sunday mornings and not Wednesday evenings.
