All over the world, PWS&D works with vulnerable communities to overcome poverty, oppression and injustice. Sunday, February 3rd is designated by the national church as PWS&D Sunday - a day to remember those we serve and to reflect on all of the amazing things that happen in our world through small acts of kindness, generosity, solidarity and love by members of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Through PWS&D we reveal our faith and demonstrate our belief that even amidst the bleakest moments, life prevails over death and hope is stronger than despair. Thank you for 65 years of prayers and support.

More "Something to think about"

It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere.

If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees!

When I am finally holding all the cards, why does everyone want to play chess?

It's not hard to meet expenses - they're everywhere.

These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, and then wonder what I'm hereafter.

Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.

Have a good week - M
