MISSION CAPSULES: "Life is getting better day by day and I am most grateful" says Alariba, a client of the PWS&D-supported Garu Community Based Rehabilitation Centre. As a young girl, Alariba became sick and developed paralysis in her lower limbs. Fortunately, Alariba was identified by staff from the Garu Centre and was assigned a tricycle. With this assistance she was able to overcome some of the challenges associated with her disability. The Garu Centre also advocates for the rights of differently-abled people, and provides vocational training to people like Alariba, who, through our support experience the amazing transformation made possible when we focus on someone's abilities.

NOTE: The Beaches Ministerial Association is planning a pulpit exchange sometime in the early spring. Watch for details to come.

Now that I'm older here's what I've discovered ..

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it!

I finally got my head together and now my body is falling apart.

Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.

Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.

If all is not lost, where is it?

It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser.

Have a good week - MB
