THURSDAY, MARCH 22nd, 2012 - Our Lent Film Festival continues this week on Thursday to avoid conflict with the Women's Retreat weekend. This week's film is, "Her Majesty, Mrs. Brown" starring Dame Judi Dench, Billy Connolly and Geoffrey Palmer. After the death of her beloved husband, Prince Albert, Queen Victoria is trapped in a deep depression and all but disappears from public view. While in mourning at Balmoral castle, an unlikely Scottish household servant, John Brown, slowly wins her trust and helps the grieving Queen begin the journey of healing. 7:00 pm - do join us for a good film, good company, and great discussions. FRIDAY, MARCH 23rd, 2012 - Women's Retreat and/or Day Away. 7:00 - 10:00 pm at 230 Wineva. Our leader, Lynda Marshall will introduce the theme for the day and we will have some introduction and social time.

SATURDAY, MARCH 24th, 2012 - Women's Day Away - 9:00am - 7:00pm at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 1 Greenland Road, Don Mills. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided..... and the Lord's meal to feed our souls. $35.00 contact Mary Ray Shantz,

SATURDAY, MARCH 24th, 2012 - Cantemus Singers present "Viva Italia" at St. Aidan's Anglican Church - 7:30 pm - tickets $20.00, $15.00 for seniors.

SUNDAY, MARCH 25th, 2012 - Join us for morning worship at 10:30 - Rev. Matt McKay leading. Following worship and refreshments there will be a second clean-up time. So much was accomplished last Sunday, there is not as much outstanding, but we can still use lots of hands.

MISSION CAPSULES: Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing ... support Mike and Debbie Burns as they serve the Blantyre Synod of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian in Malawi. Debbie shares, "while we enjoy worshipping in St. James main church, we look forward to Sunday worship at one of the three prayer houses and weekly Wednesday evening services at the different mulagas (cottages). These services provide an intimate time for prayer, praise, study and fellowship, something that is difficult to obtain in a sanctuary filled with 700 people!"
