WE NEED YOUR HELP: You may have noticed that the back entrance has been painted and looks great. However, the floor needs to be done and as next week is spring break, it's a perfect time as the Dance School are not in session, so there will be very little foot traffic. Matt and Arnie are ready to sand the floor in preparation and could use a few extra hands to do the painting. Also, we need to lay a floor in the old nursery, which will become Sunday School space, if you can help with either of these jobs, please let us know.

MISSION CAPSULES: Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing ... help Flemingdon Gateway Mission reach out to children and families in Toronto's Flemingdon Park neighbourhood. It's after school program provides a safe space where kids can work on homework, spend time with friends and participate in various fun and educational activities. The Rev. Back to the children:

When Kelli said her bedtime prayers she would bless every family member, friend and animal, and at the end she would say "and all girls." This soon became part of her nightly routine and one night her mother asked her why she always added "and all girls"? She responded, "because everybody always finish their prayers by saying "all Men".

During the minister's prayer one Sunday, there was a loud whistle from one of the back pews. Tommy's mother was horrified. She pinched him into silence and after church, asked, "Tommy whatever made you do such a thing?" Tommy answered, "I asked God to teach me to whistle, and He did!"

Have a good week. MB
