Presbyterian Music Camp Fund raising concert at Beaches Presbyterian Church. Lots of good fun, good music and usually food:

On Saturday night we will all be performing in a fund-raiser for the music camp that has meant a great deal to us all.

It's at Beaches Presbyterian Church, 65 Glen Manor Drive, starting at 7 PM - a steal at a suggested donation of $10.

Tom and Lori will start, with just the particularly saucy bits from Marjan Mozetich's Songs of Nymphs, and the complete Crown of Ariadne by Canadian icon R. Murray Schafer, with show-stopping harp and percussion, honeymoon bliss, betrayal, abandonment, bestiality, a flying architect and the triumph of what is good and right over what is very, very unpleasant.

It's a Presbyterian church, after all.

Then, Wes and Anais will take the stage and swing the place silly with jazz, r & b and a tiny bit of country from their wonderful debut recording, Off Broadview.
